Edith Cavell
Passed away peacefully on 5th March 2010 at the Loreto Home of Compassion. Beloved wife of the late George Brough Penfold, beloved sister and sister-in-law of Jack & Rose Tasker, Ettie, Aubrey & Beryl Tasker,
Juanita (Nita) & Rev Donald Mackenzie Baird, Hilton Tasker (all deceased) and Nell Tasker & Ruth McKenzie (deceased). Loved aunt of Margaret Brown (Hobart), Janet & Tony Easdown (Brisbane). Elizabeth & John Lawson (Brisbane), and Ian & Lorna Baird (Harden) and families, and loved aunt of many other nieces and nephews. Aged 94 years.
A Service of Thanksgiving to honour Edith's life will be held on Wednesday 10th March, 2010 at the Wesley Wagga Uniting Church, (corner of Tarcutta and Johnston Streets) commencing at 10.30am. Following the service the cortege will proceed to the Wagga Wagga Monumental Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations will be gratefully accepted on behalf of Loretto Home of Compassion.
